We offer sexual wellness therapies as a wholistic approach to men's health. This is often a touchy subject for men, but needs to be addressed in order to gain insight into the entire clinical picture of a man's health. There are tried and true medications that improve a man's sexual wellbeing.
Often when a man experiences elevated libido, sexual function and confidence, intimacy improves. Men gain the confidence they once had. Additionally, erections become more prolonged, sexual endurance and stamina increase while premature ejaculation incidences decrease. Hypoactive sexual desire improves over time often helping men and their partners feel close again.
Tadalafil & Sildenafil

Tadalafil (AKA Cialis) treats numerous male-related health conditions–from erectile dysfunction (ED) and enlarged prostate to urinary hesitancy, weak stream, and pulmonary arterial hypertension. This is a class of medication known as phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitors.

Tadalafil can be taken in two ways: at a higher dose, it can be taken prior to anticipated sexual activity. At a lower dose, it can be taken daily without regard to the timing of sexual activity. The dose often needs to be titrated up slowly for optimal benefit.

Another PDE5 inhibitor is sildenafil (AKA Viagra). This medication is used before sexual activity and increases blood flow to the penis for a prolonged erection.

The benefit of taking PDE5 inhibitors is to help men achieve and maintain a stronger erection. In addition to other medications, they also reduce premature ejaculation and increase libido.

Bremelanotide | PT-141 Peptide Therapy

Bremelanotide (AKA PT-141) is a melanocortin receptor agonist and is given via the subcutaneous injection route in the abdominal fat to increase libido, sexual performance, and erectile dysfunction. One injection can provide benefits for up to 72 hours. It is often given to men and women with very low libido--in medicine, the term is referred to as Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD). PT-141 can improve sexual gratification, reduce premature ejaculation and prolong erections.
